We offer an IHK-certified training program for Wedding Planners & Wedding Designers that is practical and future-oriented. The process
How wedding planning works
Behind every impressive event is well thought-out and precise planning. We are often asked how the process of planning a wedding or special event works. Whether it’s a glamorous gala, product launch or intimate celebration in a small circle – every event is based on a clearly structured approach that includes the following steps:
01 / Budget management
- Creation of an individual budget plan
- Constant updating and monitoring of the budget throughout the planning process
02 / Location Service
- A conversation to clarify your expectations, budget and wishes regarding your desired location
- Search for the location and a place for the wedding ceremony
- Presentation of at least 5 possible locations incl. checking availability and prices
03 / Service provider placement
- At least 3 proposals per type of service provider, adapted to your ideas and budget
- Contract negotiation and review
- Scheduling and accompanying the appointments with the florist, the location, the confectioner, etc.
04 / Eventsdesign
- Creation of a mood board and a decoration concept (color palette, flowers, cake, etc.)
- Selection and implementation of stationery: save-the-date cards, invitation cards, menu cards, table plan, place cards, thank you cards, etc.
- Cost overview of all costs for the proposed floral decorations, table setting, rental items, etc.
- Planning and procurement of all decorative elements
05 / Guest management
- Contact person for planning & surprises from the guests
- Organization of the overnight stay
- Organization of a transfer if necessary
*Optional: Upgrade guest management
- Sending the save the date cards & invitation cards
- RSVP tracking (guest acceptances/cancellations, intolerances, etc.)
- Support for guests with arrival & departure and hotel bookings
06 / Coordination
- Creation of an individual daily schedule and constant updating based on the respective planning status
- Forwarding the daily schedule to all service providers
- Final check and discussion of the daily schedule shortly before the wedding
