I lived in California, he lived in Texas, and our wedding would be in Germany. Seemed a bit impossible to imagine that we could pull this off, not only because of the time difference/language barrier/distance of the venue but also because Marvin and I had very demanding hospital jobs with difficult hours. We met Marie on zoom and her charismatic energy and her positive “can-do” attitude not only reassured us, but made all of the challenges we had labeled in the destination wedding melt away and become something to look forward to… especially accommodating to ~150 people and making a glamorous castle experience in a small German town in the mountains. She has an incredible amount of patience, is very easy to communicate with (on WhatsApp and email and honestly any other way you want to communicate, she picks up), and she’s flexible (incorporating elements of the Persian culture and wedding traditions was important to us, she made it work perfectly). If we had to do it again, we’d pick Marie a million times over. She is graceful, intelligent, and a trail-blazing destination wedding planner. We loved our experience and are eternally grateful!

We are so incredibly grateful to have had them as our wedding planners. Many people told us that a destination wedding would be far too time-consuming to plan and that in the end you would just be stressed out. Thanks to the two of them, we noticed absolutely nothing of this and were able to enjoy the planning from start to finish. There was never a moment when we had any doubts as to whether it was the right thing to plan such a big wedding abroad. On the contrary, we can only recommend it to any couple, especially with Marie and Hannah as planners. Every suggestion for service providers fitted like a glove, not because we are not picky, but because the two of them developed such a great feel for us as a couple that it didn’t take us long to make decisions. Marie knows how to make her work not look like work, but like pure joy. She works with so much heart and passion that you get the feeling right from the start that you’re hiring your best friend, who has everything you need to be the perfect wedding planner.

Starting with detailed lists of locations that match the taste and ideas of the bridal couple, through recommendations for suitable and excellent service providers, to suggestions that you wouldn’t even think of yourself and that will make the wedding even more unforgettable! Marie herself has excellent taste, but knows never to put this above the wishes of her bridal couples. Instead, she listens completely to their ideas and gives them perfect and accurate advice.

What we particularly appreciated was her honest and realistic advice with regard to the planning details. Marie recommends what is necessary based on her experience and also says in the right places: “You don’t need that.” So you always have the feeling that you are getting the right advice (and in the end she was right about everything!).

At the latest after two corona-related postponements, we can say all the more that hiring Marie was absolutely right. At a moment when you can no longer think clearly yourself, Marie managed to postpone the wedding, including ALL service providers, to a new date next year in just a few hours. In addition, she always provided emotional support, comforted us and at the same time made sure that we could continue to look forward to our wedding. If there were any necessary changes to the planning, Marie didn’t let us know without also presenting two alternatives, some of which were even better.

On the day of the wedding itself, Marie is cheerful, unagitated and yet in the background she holds all the strings in her hand! No detail escapes her, she knows how to coordinate all the parts of a wedding with ease and make the bride and groom feel that everything is running smoothly. Together with Hannah, who shares Marie’s work philosophy 100%, our wedding day was perfectly organized and looked after from morning until late at night!

Hannah, our thanks also go to you, because you also accompanied us for almost three years and always met us with joy, also had an overview of everything and gave us excellent advice on everything. On the big day, you were also a huge support and we would always put our full trust in you when organizing and planning a wedding!

Marie, you’ve become a friend over the whole time we’ve known each other besides work. You are the kind of person that everyone wants to have in their life because your heart is made of gold! You do your job PERFECTLY and yet you make it look so easy. We would choose you again and again and can only recommend every planning bridal couple to take you with them on this wonderful time of wedding planning, because you make it twice as beautiful!

We had our wedding two weeks ago, and all our guests described it as the best and most well organized wedding they have ever been to.

My husband and I are from California, and we weren’t sure we would be able to make a destination wedding to Germany happen until we met Marie.
